shine - silk ware
- shine - is a table ware collection, including two plates a bowl and a vase.
The concept is to illustrate the unique qualities of silk – the natural shine and the stiffness of the raw fiber. Each work is made of silk only – without any addition of another material or support. The pieces are very light in weight and thickness but at the same time surprisingly stiff and solid. Shine is a statement to the silkworms who are actually building their transformation cocoons the same way.
