Baidu - CES Shanghai 2016
At the CES Shanghai 2016, Baidu introduces software as well as hardware focusing on driving assistance, information sharing and connectivity, applied through several devices in the car interior. The installation was inspired by traditional Chinese kites. They are made out of handmade paper and bended bamboo strings. Automobiles are no longer simply serving the purpose of moving passengers but expanding their values towards an extension of living spaces and communication tools. This technological and physical transformation is realised through floating paper kites which are illustrating an evaporating car body.
